RVelicious uses MailerLite to manage subscriptions and send email communications.

When you submit a subscription form, your email address, optional first name, signup source, subscription status, and related email activity are transmitted to and stored by MailerLite.

RVelicious uses single opt-in. By submitting the signup form, you request the free mini cookbook and consent to receive the RVelicious welcome sequence and future emails concerning recipes, website or cookbook updates, and occasional promotional or affiliate content.

RVelicious currently disables email-open tracking. However, MailerLite link-click tracking remains enabled. When you click a link in a RVelicious email, MailerLite may record the click and associate it with your subscriber record. This information helps RVelicious understand which content subscribers find useful.

You may unsubscribe at any time by using the unsubscribe link included in an email. After you unsubscribe, RVelicious or MailerLite may retain a minimal suppression record, such as your email address and unsubscribe status, to honor your request and prevent accidental resubscription.

Upon a verified deletion request, fuller subscriber information will be deleted where legally appropriate, subject to records that must be retained to honor an opt-out, prevent abuse, comply with law, or resolve disputes.

Comments, Gravatar, and Antispam Bee

RVelicious moderates comments and may decline or remove comments that are spam, abusive, unlawful, misleading, unrelated, or otherwise inappropriate.

Gravatar

RVelicious uses Gravatar to display commenter profile images.

If you provide an email address with a comment, an encoded or hashed form of that email address may be sent to Gravatar to determine whether the address is connected to a Gravatar profile. If a match is found, the associated profile image may be displayed publicly next to your approved comment.

Information you make public through your Gravatar profile is governed by Gravatar’s and Automattic’s privacy practices.

Antispam Bee

RVelicious uses Antispam Bee to detect and block comment spam.

Antispam Bee evaluates comments and related technical information using filters operating within the RVelicious WordPress installation. Depending on its configuration, these filters may consider information such as the comment content, submission timing, IP address, email address, links, and locally recorded spam history.

Antispam Bee does not send commenters’ personal information to an external spam-classification service.

Please do not include private, confidential, medical, or other sensitive information in a public comment.

Cloudflare Turnstile

RVelicious uses Cloudflare Turnstile on website forms to distinguish legitimate visitors from automated bots and reduce spam and abuse.

When a protected form loads or is submitted, Cloudflare may process browser, device, network, interaction, and challenge-related information and issue a validation token. RVelicious uses the result to determine whether to accept the form submission.

Cloudflare Turnstile is used for security and fraud-prevention purposes rather than advertising.
